About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating forklifts, and ensuring the sales floor and merchandising presentation are maintained according to company policies. This role involves receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, providing member service, maintaining facility safety, and ensuring club pickup orders are filled accurately and efficiently. The associate will also be involved in technology assistance for customers and proactive problem-solving related to products, services, and work areas. The position emphasizes teamwork, integrity, customer service, and continuous improvement, aligning with Walmart's values and goals.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensures club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
  • Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services and items.
  • Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates effectively.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
