About The Position

This position is responsible for operating a forklift to move merchandise, stocking and organizing merchandise, providing customer service, maintaining the sales floor and merchandising presentation, and ensuring club pickup orders are filled accurately and efficiently. The role also involves handling inventory, using inventory tools, and maintaining a safe work environment. Associates are expected to act with integrity, serve customers and members, and strive for excellence by continuously improving and adapting to change.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases, technology, and resolving issues.
  • Maintains safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures club pickup orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
  • Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
  • Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix the problem.
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
  • Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
