About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise and supplies. This role ensures the sales floor and merchandising presentation are maintained according to company policies, and that club pickup orders are accurately filled. The associate will also operate a forklift, maintain safety standards, and provide excellent customer service. This position is crucial for ensuring efficient operations and a positive shopping experience for members.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities, collaborating with managers and coworkers.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation, including stocking, rotating merchandise, and setting up displays.
  • Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods safely and correctly, tracking goods, maintaining instock levels, and controlling shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts safely and correctly.
  • Proactively identifies and assists customers needing help with technology services and items.
  • Identifies and addresses shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas.
  • Maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates effectively.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
  • Acts in a selfless manner, being humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
