About The Position

This position is responsible for various tasks related to inventory management, customer service, and maintaining the sales floor and facility safety. The associate will operate a forklift, handle merchandise, assist customers, and ensure a clean and organized work environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and members.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines for picking, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, providing guidance on self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices and low instock levels.
• Uses inventory tools and equipment in safe and correct ways.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices.
• Tells Management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
• Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
• Models and helps others with technology services.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
• Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
• Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
