About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate position is responsible for managing inventory flow, stocking and organizing merchandise, and providing excellent customer service. This role involves operating a forklift, ensuring the sales floor is well-maintained and presented according to company standards, and assisting with order fulfillment for club pickup. Associates are expected to uphold company policies, maintain a safe work environment, and contribute to a positive team atmosphere. The role also emphasizes proactive customer engagement, technology assistance, and identifying/resolving operational issues to minimize shrink and ensure efficiency.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies.
• Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Proactively identifies Customers who need help and assists them with Technology services and items.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix the problem.
• Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
• Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others; recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
