About The Position

This position is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating a forklift, and providing excellent customer service. The associate will ensure the sales floor is well-maintained, club pickup orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, and all safety and company policies are followed. The role also involves assisting customers with technology services and identifying/resolving shrink opportunities.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
• Provides member service by acknowledging needs, offering guidance, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products/services.
• Maintains facility safety according to company policies, conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies, including zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, and monitoring for shrink, security, and safety risks.
• Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly, assisting with picking orders throughout the day.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods safely and correctly, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Reports poor inventory practices, low instock levels, and unsafe conditions or practices.
• Operates and maintains forklifts safely and correctly.
• Proactively identifies customers needing help with technology services and assists them.
• Models and helps others with technology services.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
• Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
• Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizing contributions and accomplishments.
