About The Position

This position involves complying with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. The associate will operate forklifts, complete work assignments, receive, stock, and organize merchandise, provide member service, maintain facility safety, and ensure the sales floor and merchandising presentation are in accordance with company policies. Key areas include inventory management, safe forklift operation, and utilizing technology to assist customers and identify shrink opportunities. Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility by managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Provide member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving member issues.
  • Maintain safety of facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
  • Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures by properly zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, and maintaining modular integrity.
  • Ensure club pick up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging products according to company policy and procedures.
  • Handle, move, and display goods in safe and correct ways, track goods, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
  • Operate and maintain forklifts in safe and correct ways, reporting poor or unsafe conditions or practices.
  • Proactively identify Customers who need help, actively engage them, and assist them with Technology services and items.
  • Identify shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and take steps to fix the problem.
  • Properly maintain equipment and ensure products are organized and stocked in correct ways and promptly fix any problems.
