Requirements
- Ability to use RF scanners and basic warehouse systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move cartons as required
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Scan and weigh shipping cartons using RF devices and conveyor systems
- Sort and stage cartons by bill of lading number
- Operate carton sealing (taping) equipment
- Unload cartons from conveyors and stage them on skids
- Count and scan cartons for tracking and payroll accuracy
- Assist with loading cartons or pallets onto trailers
- Open and close dock doors, dock levelers, and trailer doors safely
- Seal and secure trailers after loading is complete
- Follow shipping instructions and safety procedures at all times
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
