About The Position
Legacy Supply Chain is hiring a Freight Clerk to support our distribution center located in Ontario, CA. As a Freight Clerk, you will provide administrative support to the customer and operations to ensure business requirements are consistently met by maintaining clerical duties on the warehouse floor.
Requirements
- Detail oriented with ability to demonstrate skill in business analysis, and/or a track record in executing company standards successfully.
- Ability to effectively communicate, interact and convey business decisions with many different levels within the organization.
- Knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory systems, supply chain management, logistics, customer service, reporting, system analysis, equipment and warehouse functionality.
- Proven success in maintaining quality, service and client relationships in a high-paced setting.
- Strong computer skills with proven competencies in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Process paperwork for all live and drop appointments prior to appointments arriving
- Signing of Bills based on quantity received
- Generate paperwork for add on appointments
- Account for shortage or damages of product on the BOLs
- Ensure all Bills are stamped for shipments received and refused
- Generate paper work for Drop Trailers
- Ocean and International billing and document tracking
- Track and report Trailer Dispatches timely
- Pre-pare all receiving packets
- Forward OS&D in a timely manner
- Support Administrative Staff as required
