Requirements

Prior experience in rail, industrial cleaning, or a related labor-intensive field preferred
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Team-oriented with strong communication and safety awareness skills

Responsibilities

Clean and inspect freight railcars to meet operational and safety standards
Remove debris, residue, and contaminants from interior and exterior of rail cars
Use hand tools, pressure washers, and cleaning equipment to perform thorough car cleaning
Follow safety protocols and railroad regulations during all cleaning operations
Document and report any damage, defects, or maintenance needs observed on freight cars
Work alongside rail yard crew to ensure timely turnaround of cleaned cars
Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company and safety guidelines
