About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Freight Broker Agent to join our team on a 1099 independent contractor basis. This is a commission-only role where you will manage and grow your existing book of business, develop strong relationships with shippers and clients, and identify new business opportunities. You will be responsible for coordinating freight movement from pickup to delivery, negotiating rates, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and a flexible, customizable compensation structure based on your performance and independence.

Requirements

  • Active book of business with current revenue
  • Proven experience in freight brokerage (typically 2+ years, but performance-driven)
  • Book of business generating approximately $20K+ monthly gross profit (preferred)
  • Strong client relationships with portable business
  • Ability to bring and transition customers to a new brokerage
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Collaborate with internal operations team (if applicable) or manage full cycle independently
