Requirements

• Ability to select/pick orders for the company's clients.
• Required to work in a food handling environment with varying climates, including dry, humid, cold, and hot.
• Ability to operate the electric pallet jack.
• Ability to meet/exceed productivity standards.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Diligent and punctual.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to work in a refrigerated food handling environment.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an order selector or other warehouse position.
• Previous experience operating the electric pallet jack and RF scanner gun.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Locating, picking, stacking, scanning, wrapping, and staging individual orders in their respective staging lanes.
• Ensuring that the correct quantity and product types are being selected to meet the company's productivity standards.
• Working quickly and efficiently, in addition to maintaining the accuracy of the orders.
• Working within three main product departments which include freezer, produce, and the dry area.
• Safely operating the electric pallet jack.
• Adhering to health and safety policies and quality standards.
• Maintaining safe work practices.
• Maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions.
• Other duties as required and assigned.
