About The Position
FAR Inspections is seeking a reliable independent contractor to perform residential mortgage inspections in Slope County, North Dakota, and surrounding communities. This role involves performing brief, exterior visits to confirm property status and report on general conditions. As a Field Inspector, you will have autonomy over your routing, schedule, and territory, with standard inspections typically requiring only 5-6 minutes on-site. The role requires spending extended periods driving and making numerous stops throughout the day in a spacious rural county with longer drives between stops. This is a 1099 position paid a set fee for every inspection completed, with earning potential equivalent to $25-$35 per hour for efficient contractors.
Requirements
- Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
- Smartphone (Android or iPhone) capable of running mobile reporting apps.
- Computer with an internet connection and a printer.
- Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines without direct supervision.
- Ability to pass a standard background check.
