About The Position

We are currently looking for freelance translators for the language combination of English (US) to French (CA), requiring native French Canadian speakers. Specializations include Human Resources (policy insurance, Open enrollment, training, interviews), Marketing (Surveys), Life Science, and Technical (Renewable Energy).

Requirements

Native French Canadian speaker for English (US) to French (CA) translation.
Specialization in at least one of the following: Human Resources (policy insurance, Open enrollment, training, interviews), Marketing (Surveys), Life Science, or Technical (Renewable Energy).
Meet at least one of the ISO 17100 criteria:
a) Obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education.
b) Obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full-time professional experience in translating.
c) Have the equivalent of five years of full-time professional experience in translating.
Ability to provide documentary evidence of professional translation experience if required (e.g. employment records, certificates of employment, or other appropriate supporting documentation).
