About The Position

Line produce, organize and edit sports content for linear and digital platforms. This role involves preparing, coordinating, and editing on-air material for daily sportscasts, working under extreme deadline pressure to create compelling sportscasts in consultation with sports anchors and news managers. The producer will also monitor and log televised sports events, conceive and create graphics, and contribute story ideas. The position requires maintaining a commitment to accuracy, fairness, and ethics, and may involve field producing and shooting content when needed.

Requirements

• Creative, organized, and results-oriented.
• Line producing skills.
• Experience with non-linear editing.
• Experience with non-linear shooting.
• Must have strong knowledge of DFW-area sports.
• Knowledge of use of social media and ability to execute station’s digital strategy.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, as needed.

• Grass Valley edit system knowledge
• Experience with non-linear shooting
