About The Position

As a Freelance Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our production team in various phases of production. From researching and building graphics, to finding statistics about players and teams to assisting with editing and preparing scripts, you will contribute to the creation of engaging sports content for our views. This role is on-site and requires availability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and non-traditional business hours. This role reports to the Coordinating Content Producers.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of both local and national sports.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comprehensive understanding of sports statistics and abbreviations.
• Proficient in grammar and spelling skills to ensure accuracy and clarity in written communications.
• Excellent communication abilities, both verbally and in written form, to effectively convey information and ideas.

Responsibilities

• Support in editing pieces, preparing scripts, coordination, and conducting necessary research where required.
