About The Position

BizClik Media is a fast-scaling, global B2B media and events business building influential industry platforms across sustainability, AI, data centres, Supply Chain, and procurement. They operate over 20 digital platforms and a growing portfolio of flagship events, connecting C-suite leaders and innovators. BizClik is an AI-powered, data-led scale-up combining content, communities, live experiences, and commercial partnerships. This role is for a Freelance Editor to support the launch and growth of their New York hub. The position can be fully remote, with occasional travel to New York for collaboration, events, and content production. The editor will be key in producing high-quality editorial and commercial content to establish BizClik's voice, credibility, and presence in the North American market.

Requirements

  • Strong background in journalism, editorial, or B2B content creation.
  • Experience writing for digital platforms with an understanding of SEO.
  • Confident producing thought leadership and interview-led content.
  • Ability to work independently at pace while maintaining quality.
  • Strong storyteller with a sharp editorial eye.
  • Proactive and self-driven.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, scale-up environment.
  • Collaborative and adaptable across time zones.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with commercial content or branded campaigns is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Write and edit high-quality articles, features, and thought leadership content across BizClik platforms.
  • Produce SEO-led digital content aligned to key sectors including AI, sustainability, and enterprise technology.
  • Support magazine production including front-of-book and feature content.
  • Maintain strong editorial standards across tone, structure, and storytelling.
  • Create and edit branded content including company profiles and interview-led features.
  • Work closely with commercial and production teams to deliver client campaigns.
  • Balance editorial integrity with commercial objectives.
  • Support consistent daily publishing output.
  • Contribute to content planning and editorial calendars.
  • Use performance insights to refine content approach and maximise engagement.
  • Research and engage with senior leaders across North America.
  • Conduct interviews with C-suite executives.
  • Attend events (virtually and in-person where required).
