This job is responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling to minimize fraud loss exposure and negative impacts to the customer experience. Key responsibilities include utilizing a variety of systems, such as Excel, SAS, SQL, Tableau, and other relational data bases, to provide analytical support on strategies, ensure goals are met, and propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structures to produce optimal results. Job expectations include evaluating data to assess potential fraud risk and creating mitigation strategies. Account Takeover (ATO) persists as one of the most prevalent threats within the fraud landscape today. This, coupled with the expansion of our digital capabilities, and the wide array of compromised information available for purchase, has increased the scope and complexity of effectively detecting, mitigating, and monitoring ATO risk within the Bank’s ecosystem. The Fraud Prevention and Detection organization relies heavily on our understanding of current fraudster tactics to expand our capabilities, reduce customer friction, and make strategic investment decisions. Data related to customer profiles and online banking login events hold an important key to securing best-in-class fraud performance and exceptional customer experiences. The selected candidate will work closely with the Cross-Functional teams and internal stakeholders to minimize process gaps and deliver on organizational loss goals.
