This role will travel to stores throughout their region (Hamilton/Niagara) 3 days per week. When not travelling this role can work remotely from home. As a Franchise Relations Partner, you'll lead a region of Franchise and Corporate stores to exceptional business performance, driving sales growth, profitability, and operational excellence. Through strategic partnership, coaching, and business leadership, you'll help stores consistently exceed annual sales and profit targets, contributing to a high-performing region with strong P&L results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant multi unit retail and or business experience with in depth understanding of store operations supported by experience in Merchandising.
  • Ability to understand performance trends, identify improvement opportunities and actions to be executed within fiscal year.
  • Establishes and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that support financial targets
  • Able to effectively lead and implement projects
  • Analytical and trouble shooting skills to resolve complex problems
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • MS Office proficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Franchise experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability in controlling operational costs, including labor, supply chain, inventory, and overhead costs, to improve profitability.
  • Proficiency in French (for Quebec Market mandatory, other markets an asset)
  • Store Management and/or franchise experience a large asset
  • Profound AS400 system experience
  • Experience with Analytics platforms (BI/Segment-Looker) an added bonus
  • Six Sigma experience would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop business plans in partnership with corporate stores, focused on improving P&L results and accelerating conversion to franchise ownership.
  • Support franchise owners' efforts to grow their business by instilling entrepreneurial thinking, encouraging them to seize local opportunities, and to exercise freedom within a framework to maximize P&L results and build long-term wealth.
  • Partner with Home Office teams and store leadership to identify regional trends and customer needs, ensuring localized assortments and in-store experiences align with brand standards while implementing operational excellence practices that drive traffic, sales, and customer satisfaction across the region.
  • In partnership with the Franchisee Development Program team, support the selection and practical hands on training and evaluation to ensure readiness of our future franchise leaders (FITs).
  • Champion new programs and initiatives in support of the GT Way, ensuring we are building trust through two-way communication/feedback.
