About The Position

This career opportunity is for a Franchise Store Operator role at an independently owned and operated corporation licensed to use the "Sobeys" trademark. The Franchise Store Operator will lead all facets of a store operation, including strategic direction, vision, talent management, and operational excellence for the entire store location. The company is a proudly Canadian, family-oriented business with over 1,600 stores across the country, operating under various banners such as Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, Foodland, FreshCo, Thrifty Foods, and Lawtons Drug Stores.

Requirements

• Proven track record of business success.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Superior leadership and communication skills.
• Experience leading and building teams.
• Full knowledge of retail operations throughout a total store.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading people and teams in a retail environment.
• Knowledge and experience that will ensure the efficient operation of a business to achieve all financial targets and key performance indicators.
