About The Position

The Franchise Operations Consultant provides world-class support to Franchisees and Center Managers, offering effective guidance and coaching to meet or exceed Sales, Car Count, and Customer Experience metrics. This role involves being an influential leader on the Take 5 Oil Change model to improve franchisee performance and profitability while safeguarding Take 5’s brand image, service, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in multi-unit operations (franchise/chain)
  • Strong financial analysis and P&L management skills
  • Proven ability to lead in sales, marketing, and operations
  • Results-oriented with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent sales, consulting, and communication skills
  • Skilled in group training, presentations, and public speaking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Franchise experience preferred
  • Home base located in the Western US preferred

Responsibilities

  • Achieves position goals, timelines, and KPI metrics through coaching all franchisees in a geographic territory.
  • Conducts market meetings and peer-to-peer focus groups to deliver training on company initiatives that impact performance and increase engagement.
  • Utilizes observations and data-driven insights to provide directional coaching to improve revenue, people development, and customer experiences.
  • Uses available reports and tools to improve gross profit, reduce expenses, and maximize EBITDA to enhance franchisee profitability.
  • Documents all activity in FranConnect, including Take 5 Operational Audits, Profit Reviews, Center Visits, and Virtual Coaching Forms.
  • Interfaces with all support departments to ensure timely and accurate responses to franchisees' needs and questions, ensuring franchisee satisfaction.
  • Focuses on strategic and tactical processes to improve the center’s customer experience through measurable systems like NPS and online ratings.
  • Provides oversight to ensure franchisee compliance with brand obligations for quality, image, training, and service.
  • Attends and participates in the Take 5 Annual Rally and drives 100% attendance at the event.
  • Participates in Take 5 Operations & Training meetings and any other corporate organized events as needed.
  • Creates and delivers content as needed.
  • Implements marketing and sales direction to increase regional revenue growth.
  • Effectively demonstrates, coaches, observes, evaluates, analyzes, and trains all aspects of the Take 5 Operating system through coaching methodology.
  • Builds trust through respectful communication and dedication to gain a positive coaching relationship with franchisees and key Managers.
  • Creates, uses, and delivers appropriate communication and technologies (via video, PowerPoint, Excel, webinar, L&D platform, BI tools, etc.) to maximize communication with franchisees and employees regarding operations plans, strategies, projects, tools, and technologies.
  • Contributes to, communicates, and implements new/current company initiatives.
  • Assists in the development of new systems and resources for the franchise system.
  • Ensures timely and accurate reporting for the territory.
  • Understands and delivers the obligations within the franchise agreement.
  • Communicates succession planning with franchisees across the district to support growth and timely new unit openings.
  • Travels approximately 50% within the Western US.
