About The Position

ODC Construction is seeking a Framing Laborer to support day-to-day framing operations across residential and multi-family construction projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring framing work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Experience driving pickup trucks, utility trailers, or larger service vehicles safely.
  • Ability to navigate to multiple construction sites daily, including in rural or high-traffic areas.
  • Required to travel between job sites and company facilities, occasionally on short notice, with travel distances varying according to business needs.
  • Must pass a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check and periodic rechecks.
  • Comfortable operating vehicles in variable site conditions (unpaved roads, construction zones, etc.).
  • Must follow all company vehicle use policies and applicable traffic laws.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the construction and installation of framing components, including walls, floors, and roof systems
  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other building materials using hand and power tools
  • Load, unload, and distribute materials and tools on-site
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear proper PPE
  • Support the framing crew and supervisor with additional tasks as needed
