About The Position

Framer 2 Primary function is to manufacture round stock product to established specification in a productive, efficient and safe manner. During 90-day probationary period a Framer 2 will be classified as a Framer 3 during their training phase until proficient. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Requirements

  • Ability to inspect and verify quality and classification of round stock to ANSI, ASTM or Corporate standards.
  • Proficiency in operating hand and framing tools to cut, drill, gain, brand, tag, clean and prepare poles for treatment.
  • Ability to document and report material processed.
  • Skill in maintaining tools, equipment, supplies and work area.
  • Ability to assist in inspection of all round stock products.
  • Ability to assist in receipt of materials, tallying, identification, records and information.
  • Ability to assist in operation of full length and deep incisor as required.
  • Proficiency in operating pole tag machine to manufacture aluminum tags.
  • Participation and contribution to company safety program.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
