About The Position

The Frame Stager is responsible for organizing, transporting, and staging frames within the staging department to ensure seamless support for production operations. This role ensures the timely delivery of frames to the assembly or upholstery departments while maintaining inventory accuracy, adhering to quality standards, and following safety protocols. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in material handling or a related field, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with handling large or bulky components like furniture frames is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (certification preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic math and record-keeping skills for inventory tracking.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Forklift certification preferred or obtained after hire.

Responsibilities

  • Move, organize, and stage furniture frames efficiently, ensuring they are available and in the correct location for production.
  • Safely operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to transport frames within the facility.
  • Inspect frames for quality, damage, or defects before staging, ensuring only approved components are delivered to production.
  • Maintain accurate records of frame inventory, staging locations, and movement between departments.
  • Collaborate with production and assembly teams to align frame delivery with production schedules and priorities.
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging workplace culture while achieving individual and team goals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline frame handling and staging processes.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
