About The Position
The Milliken Highland Plant, located in Cheraw, SC has an opening for a "Frame Hauler" to move material and stage rolls of fabric on grading frames for inspection. The open position is on third shift with work hours from 12am to 8am. The Frame Hauler is responsible for locating and relocating rolls of fabric, to be inspected, by loading and unloading inspection frames, transporting rolls of fabric onto storage trailers, transporting rolls of fabric into Warehouse rack locations, and accurately locating the rolls transported using RF Scanners and SAP inventory control software.
Requirements
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely operate a forklift and roll handling equipment
- Must pass and obtain an internal Forklift license
- Must have prior forklift experience
- Must demonstrate the ability to understand and perform transactions within the BPCS manufacturing software system
- Must demonstrate the ability to operate RF Scanning equipment proficiently
- Must be able to read and comprehend instructions
- Must be able to demonstrate the safe operation of the roll handling hoist
- Must be able to push and pull the hoist to desired location, ensuring that all safety devices are in place
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Responsibilities
- Locating and relocating rolls of fabric, to be inspected, by loading and unloading inspection frames
- Transporting rolls of fabric onto storage trailers
- Transporting rolls of fabric into Warehouse rack locations
- Accurately locating the rolls transported using RF Scanners and SAP inventory control software
- Working safely, attending all required safety meetings, and reporting unsafe conditions immediately
- Safely transporting fabric rolls to inspection locations, loading rolls onto storage trailers and/or loading rolls into warehouse rack locations, using squeeze bars or ram-pole equipped forklifts
- Performing transactions within the BPCS manufacturing software system
- Operating RF Scanning equipment proficiently
- Reading and comprehending instructions
- Demonstrating the safe operation of the roll handling hoist
- Pushing and pulling the hoist to desired location, ensuring that all safety devices are in place
- Lifting 75 pounds
- Performing other duties assigned by the Department Manager and/or Lead-Persons
