Crystal Cabinet Works is seeking a Frame Fabricator III to join our team in Princeton, MN! Since 1947, Crystal Cabinet Works has been a custom cabinet manufacturer located in central Minnesota. Requirements

  • Performs all the duties of the Frame Fabricator II.
  • Assembles face frames; using stile and rail component parts for the face frames as they are labeled.
  • Sets jigs for face frames (if odd size uses tape measure as needed).
  • Assures squareness of frame according to product specifications.
  • Applies glue to frames.
  • Drills pilot holes and screws frame together.
  • Wipes off excess glue.
  • Moves frame to roller track.
  • Reviews cut sheet and operates chop saw to cut stiles, rails, fillers, etc. according to specifications.
  • Uses table saw to cut parts.
  • Cuts dados on custom pieces according to cut sheet specifications.
  • Operates boring machine to make picket holes.
  • Sets up component parts per paperwork and labels parts for assembly.
  • Inspects each part to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Putties and sands as needed.
  • Sets up and operates edge sander.
  • Prepares beaded face frames using inset machine and assures depth/settings are correct on machine.
  • Calculates accurately the dimensions of openings and recalculates dimensions that are not on paperwork.
  • Drills hinge hole placement according to hinge types/specifications.
  • Completes accurately all paperwork related to jobs.
  • Assists in training Frame Fabricator I and II positions.
  • Maintains all working areas in a clean, safe and orderly fashion.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the various wood species and can differentiate between them.
  • Makes fundamental mathematical calculations and reads measurement devices, i.e. tape measure, etc.
  • Fills in other areas as needed.
