About The Position

This position is responsible for assembling wood frame parts for high end, high quality furniture.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous assembling experience a plus
• Prolonged periods of walking and standing and performing repetitive tasks
• While standing, position will require bending, squatting, kneeling and twisting
• Must be able to work in noisy environments
• Must have manual dexterity in order to operate tools as directed
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reading ticket and assembling wood parts for frame based on ticket specs
• Maintaining quality standards and production levels in assigned work areas
• Using a variety of tools including but not limited to: staple guns, ziz wheels, grinders, drills, tape measure, and screwdrivers
• Reviewing assembled product to ensure there are no defects and taking it to the next work station
• Following all safety policies and procedures
• Performing all other duties as assigned
