Frame Assembler 1st Shift

This position builds quality frame components required for the upholstery assembly process. These sub-components are delivered to the upholstery assembly process to produce upholstered furniture. Requirements
- Equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the above duties
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Basic math knowledge
- Achieve performance standards
- Maintain PIV license as needed
Responsibilities
- Obtains work order to determine frame style and quantity
- Retrieves sub-assemblies and parts from storage locations
- Assembles components using glue, dowels, staples, and air clamps
- Set-up clamps correctly and check frames to assure they are in square, and angles are correct
- Inspects and check frames for compliance to quality standards
- Delivers frames to temporary storage for next operations
- Follows health and safety standards.
- Maintains a clean workstation and production floor
- Performs other tasks as assigned
