About The Position

Kinect Solar is seeking a technology executive to turn technology into a competitive advantage, improve how the team works and serves customers, and support the company’s growth and enterprise value. During an initial 90-day engagement, the role will assess people, processes, systems, and AI opportunities, then begin targeted fixes. The position reports to the CFO and works closely with the CEO and operations leaders. It owns the technology plan, team direction, provider oversight, and results, while building solutions where useful and delegating implementation to internal staff and outside experts. The role will set technology priorities and determine whether to buy, adjust, connect, or build solutions based on business value and ongoing cost. It will work hands-on in NetSuite, HubSpot, and AI tools as needed, oversee providers using clear work plans and quality checks, and ensure staff can use and support delivered solutions. Provider financial ties must be disclosed. In the first 30 days, the role will align leadership on the technology plan, decision-making, staffing, budget, and success measures; review existing requirements and work; determine whether to improve or replace the CRM; put workflow pilots into daily use and measure their results; assess existing Kinect Intelligence work and the WHRFQ project; and complete a team skills and workload assessment with a costed staffing plan. By the 90-day scorecard, the role will begin agreed fixes and deliver tested improvements within approved scope. It will address customer-record sharing and duplicate prevention, establish record-ownership rules with sales leaders, train affected users, and report system use and data accuracy against agreed targets. It will define and demonstrate an approved first Kinect Intelligence release for warehouse quote requests, forecasting, and operations handoff; move selected RFQ steps from scattered emails and spreadsheets into a shared workflow; and establish tracking for CRM use, RFQ progress, and pricing handoffs. It will recommend the next stage of work, including costs, owners, and timing, and address customer access to project information and the systems, records, and support arrangements needed for a future buyer’s review and handover. Throughout the engagement, the role will lead weekly steering meetings with the board and key executives and maintain a scoreboard of results, spending, milestones, risks, and decisions needed, with actions and owners recorded and delays addressed early. The proposed commitment is approximately three days per week during the initial 90-day engagement. Fees and review checkpoints will be agreed, and any continuation will be agreed separately. The role is remote with occasional travel. After initial scoping, it will act within agreed budgets and decision limits without case-by-case approval.
