About The Position

This is a project-based role for a Fractional Controller within Client Accounting & Finance Services. The position involves developing and monitoring accounting controls, rationalizing the chart of accounts, leading the preparation of monthly financial statements, and conducting quarterly balance sheet reviews. The role also includes overseeing tax filings, creating financial reports and cash flow analyses, and implementing controls to prevent fraud and waste. This is a W-2 employee position with an expected commitment of 15 to 30 hours per week, depending on engagement scope. The role offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with onsite meetings at Keiter's office or client sites. Employees receive technical training and CPE credits, and work within a highly respected team led by experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Experience in developing and monitoring accounting controls.
• Ability to rationalize chart of accounts.
• Experience in preparing monthly financial statements.
• Proficiency in preparing reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet reviews.
