About The Position

The Frac Lead Operator II (LOP2) is responsible for overseeing hydration unit operations, managing rig-in/rig-out processes, and troubleshooting hydration issues. This role ensures suction valving is correct and tank levels are adequate before starting a stage, with a strong emphasis on preventive maintenance. The position requires a valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, a satisfactory driving record, and proven ability to perform tasks from lower job classifications. Strong safety knowledge, communication skills, a high personal integrity, strong work ethic, and composure under stress are essential. The ability to work with minimal supervision and in a diverse environment is also required. The company will provide training for several required certifications.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
Satisfactory driving record.
Proven ability to perform tasks from lower job classifications.
Understanding of truck and equipment safety and maintenance.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High personal integrity, strong work ethic, and composure under stress.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a diverse environment.
Required PPE (i.e., coveralls, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.).

Responsibilities

Oversee hydration unit operations.
Manage rig-in/rig-out processes for hydration units, ensuring suction and discharge hoses are safely rigged up per SOP.
Ensure suction valving is correct and tank levels are adequate before starting a stage.
Emphasize and perform preventive maintenance.
Manage the suction side of hydration, ensuring water transfer meets demand.
Communicate promptly with the Data Van if water supply issues arise.
Quickly address and resolve issues impacting job quality.
