About The Position

The Frac Lead Operator I (LOP1) is responsible for overseeing the rig-in/rig-out of chemical additive units, ensuring safety and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining proper chemical valving, and managing the chemical zone to ensure the safety of all personnel. A $2,000 signing bonus is offered for this full-time, non-exempt position within the Frac department, reporting to the Frac Supervisor.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
Satisfactory driving record.
Demonstrated ability to perform tasks of lower job classifications.
Understanding of truck and equipment safety, maintenance, and chemical handling.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
High personal integrity, strong work ethic, and the ability to remain calm under stress.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively in a diverse environment.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed.
Capable of working overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

Oversee the rig-in/rig-out of chemical additive units, ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs.
Manage the chemical zone, ensuring all personnel use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
Prevent chemical contamination by meticulously checking valving and lines before transferring chemicals and ensuring pumps are not rolled against a closed system.
Address and resolve issues promptly to maintain job quality.
Ensure all preventative maintenance requirements are met.
