About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The person in this position will ensure proper ingredients and quantities are used for marination formulas and ensure marination mix is maintained proper temperature and in accordance with specifications. Team member in this position will be responsible for filling out Quality Assurance verifications and using handheld scanning devices to manage inventory of ingredients utilized. The Person in this position will communicate any issues to the Lead and/or Supervisor immediately, and perform any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • 6 months of continuous work history in the last 12 months listed on application.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic math (adding and subtracting) skills.
  • Ability to constantly climb stairs while carrying ingredients to dump into the marination tank.
  • Ability to obtain the pallet jack license after being in the job for 2 weeks.
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
