About The Position

At Saraya USA, we value innovation, integrity, collaboration, sustainability, and continuous improvement. This position will lead the financial strategy and accounting operations of Lakanto. Own capital allocation, financial planning, treasury, accounting, tax, and risk management across all sales channels, profit and cost centers, manage audit and bank relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of finance/accounting experience.
  • Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP.
  • Advanced financial Excel skills.
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time; occasionally bend, twist, and perform repetitive wrist and typing movements on a keyboard.
  • EBITDA margin, net income and cash conversion cycle.
  • Forecast accuracy- revenue, gross, and contribution margin by channel by brand – profitability growth.
  • Audit findings and material weakness.
  • Working capital efficiency (ratios such as DIO (inventory), DSO (sales), DPO (payable))
  • Cost of capital and debt covenant compliance

Responsibilities

  • Set long-range financial strategy aligned with Lakanto's growth in retail, e-commerce, and international expansion
  • Oversee all accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, and risk functions
  • Partner with CEO and HQ executive team in the negotiation of capital structure, and relations including their expectations
  • Manage banking relationships, debt/cash flow and optimization of working capital.
  • Review and approve annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly executive reporting
  • Ensure GAAP compliance, audit readiness, and internal controls appropriate to company stage
  • Drive margin improvement initiatives across COGS, trade spend, and SG&A
  • Lead pricing strategy, customer profitability analysis, and channel P&L ownership (profitability by channel any brand)
