About The Position

This role involves partnering with Global Corporate IT leaders to develop detailed quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. The analyst will lead strategic analysis of SMG&A, provide actionable insights to key finance collaborators including the CFO, and coordinate month-end operations for Global Corporate IT business units. Responsibilities include assessing monthly transactions, entering journal entries, identifying risks and opportunities related to projected spend, and collaborating on the annual review of the cost allocation model. The position also focuses on developing enhanced reporting, including self-service options like dashboards and visuals, and building strong relationships across various finance and IT teams to ensure open communication. Additionally, the role supports relevant audit and business risk management initiatives, and assists in the delivery of broader finance and IT projects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate IT environment.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Experience with cost allocation models and strategic financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with month-end procedures and journal entries.
  • Proficiency in developing and improving reporting tools and dashboards.
  • Ability to prioritize various tasks and meet strict deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global Corporate IT leaders to produce detailed and dependable bottom-up quarterly forecasts and annual budgets through meaningful business partnership and insight gathering.
  • Lead strategic analysis of SMG&A to provide actionable insights to key finance collaborators, including our CFO.
  • Coordinate month-end operations for principal Global Corporate IT business units and departments by assessing monthly transactions, entering journal entries, and pointing out risks and opportunities connected to projected spend.
  • Work with Global Corporate IT on the cost allocation model annual review, including communication with key collaborators.
  • Develop enhanced reporting, including self-service reporting for collaborators, such as dashboards, visuals, or new reporting styles.
  • Build positive connections across the Global Corporate IT, Group Planning and Reporting, and extended Group Finance teams to encourage open and timely communication.
  • Support relevant audit and business risk management initiatives as required.
  • Assist in the delivery of Global Corporate IT, Group Planning & Reporting, and wider Group Finance initiatives.
