Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems for over 100 years, is seeking a FP&A Product Cost Senior Analyst for its Operations Finance Product Cost team. This position is based onsite in East Hartford, Connecticut, with current flexibility for a hybrid schedule. The Senior Analyst will support Military Engines product cost, specifically responsible for all cost analysis on the Tanker program, monthly reporting and forecasting processes, and long-range planning. This role is a key part of the Operations Finance team supporting the Military Engines team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required with at least 2+ years of relevant work experience; OR an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Ability to process large amounts of data and convert into easily understandable summary level reporting.
  • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Business Warehouse (BW) Query Designer & Reporting tools as well as SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly actual cost analysis of Tanker engine program.
  • Responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly forecasts as well as long term strategic plans, including coordination and collaboration with Module Centers, Supply Chain, Military Engines product cost affordability / WOC team, and the Program Office.
  • Gather, prepare, and analyze detailed product cost data for long-range planning process.
  • Prepare various ad hoc presentations based on Senior Leadership’s requests, which include different sub-categorizations and cuts of actuals, forecast, and long-range plan.
  • Support monthly Reporting Packages for Tanker which are presented to Program Leadership.
  • Consolidate & report out monthly measurement part cost actuals for Module Centers and Supply Chain.
