Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems for over 100 years, is seeking a FP&A Product Cost Senior Analyst for its Operations Finance Product Cost team. This position is based onsite in East Hartford, Connecticut, with current flexibility for a hybrid schedule. The Senior Analyst will support Military Engines product cost, specifically responsible for all cost analysis on the Tanker program, monthly reporting and forecasting processes, and long-range planning. This role is a key part of the Operations Finance team supporting the Military Engines team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required with at least 2+ years of relevant work experience; OR an advanced degree in a related field.
Ability to process large amounts of data and convert into easily understandable summary level reporting.
Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Effective time management skills.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Business Warehouse (BW) Query Designer & Reporting tools as well as SAP.

Responsibilities

Responsible for monthly actual cost analysis of Tanker engine program.
Responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly forecasts as well as long term strategic plans, including coordination and collaboration with Module Centers, Supply Chain, Military Engines product cost affordability / WOC team, and the Program Office.
Gather, prepare, and analyze detailed product cost data for long-range planning process.
Prepare various ad hoc presentations based on Senior Leadership’s requests, which include different sub-categorizations and cuts of actuals, forecast, and long-range plan.
Support monthly Reporting Packages for Tanker which are presented to Program Leadership.
Consolidate & report out monthly measurement part cost actuals for Module Centers and Supply Chain.
