FP&A Finance - SLED Intern
About The Position
This internship is within the Finance Department, specifically in Strategy & Planning. The intern will work on developing a transportation costs dashboard in PowerBI, gain an introduction to cost center and GL account structures, and receive basic training in Excel and PowerBI. Responsibilities include using Vlookup, pivot tables, creating tables, and uploading mass data to PowerBI. The intern will also be involved in the Month End Close process, learning how the FPA team collaborates with Accounting, how to pull data from SAP, populate the Month End Close deck for CFO review, and research month-to-date and year-to-date variances versus budget. Additionally, the intern will work on an Intercompany IT Costs project, consolidating total company IT costs data and creating a file to track actuals. Another project involves Auto Leasing Analysis, categorizing recurring fees and maintenance per employee, improving the current forecasting model, and enhancing visibility to business partners. A further analysis will be conducted on travel spend per Sales Employee to improve sales expenses forecasting. The intern will complete and present a PowerPoint deck of their final work and learnings.
Requirements
- Basic training in Excel and PowerBI.
