About The Position

Behavox is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to own the company's core financial model, including its architecture, underlying accounting, and the forecasts and analysis that drive company decisions. This role is designed to influence decisions by translating numbers into actionable choices for leadership. While the analyst will integrate budgets into the model, they will not manage the budgeting cycle. Additionally, the role involves building valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma models for acquisitions, including target evaluation, due diligence, and integrating closed deals into a consolidated view. This is a high-autonomy position that sets modeling standards and is accountable for the accuracy and integrity of financial data, translating it into sharp, actionable recommendations for senior leadership, the board, and investors. The analyst will pressure-test assumptions, leverage modern tooling and AI, and continuously learn to enhance analysis rigor and reach.

Requirements

Knowledge of how an integrated three-statement and operating model fits together, including the underlying accounting (SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment).
Understanding of how company budgets are built and how to integrate them into the model.
Proficiency in both bottom-up short-term forecasting and driver-based long-term modeling.
Understanding of key SaaS metrics and what influences them.
Ability to value acquisitions and integrate them into a consolidated model, including purchase accounting and combined-entity projections.
Strong business and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of how the business and its functions generate revenue and incur costs.
Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
Awareness of the AI and automation landscape and its trustworthiness.

Responsibilities

Builds and maintains the core three-statement and operating model with scenario and sensitivity layers, ensuring accuracy, cleanliness, and ease of maintenance.
Integrates budgets into the financial model without owning the budgeting cycle.
Owns the accuracy of every output and the integrity of every assumption within the financial model.
Builds valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma combined-entity models for acquisition evaluation and due diligence.
Folds closed acquisition deals into a single consolidated view.
Drives the substance of monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for senior management, the board, and investors.
Translates the financial model into a narrative that explains performance drivers and their business implications.
Diagnoses metric movements and identifies the levers that change them.
Pressure-tests the assumptions behind every financial result.
Provides decision-makers with actionable recommendations.
Uses AI and spreadsheet automation to compress cycle times and harden data validation.
Automates recurring tasks while retaining judgment for manual processes.
