About The Position

The Fountain Lead Associate greets and monitors visitors, provides directions, and offers support as they navigate exhibits or the retail store. This role aims to maximize revenue generation and enhance the customer experience by interacting with customers and employees. The associate will assist and educate customers about sales offerings, including merchandise selection and purchase, demonstrating a broad familiarity with products and store policies. Responsibilities include handling customer funds, recording sales transactions (cash and credit/debit), operating a register/scanner, balancing receipts, and determining sales tax. The role may also involve store-level support functions such as stocking, customer service, scheduling, daily operations, cashiering, loss prevention, maintenance, and back-office support. A key aspect of this role is providing excellent customer service and representing the Coca-Cola brand positively.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 2 years as a retail lead strongly preferred
  • Prior management experience a plus
  • Experience in specialty retail strongly preferred
  • Experience with retail POS system a plus
  • Fluency in a second language a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience mentoring and/or training others
  • Dependable with open availability and flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong desire and ability to serve customers and solve problems.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and promote a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and onboard new Retail Sales Associates.
  • Consistently drive the team to meet sales goals.
  • Drive brand awareness and lasting customer relationships by interacting with the product, promoting store campaigns and contests.
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador, consistently modeling and upholding The Coca-Cola Company Core Values.
  • Handle POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales floor team by suggesting different approaches to engage with guests and ensuring timely and quality execution.
  • Assist Store Leadership with operational procedures, including inventory, cycle counts, ordering, opening and closing registers, counting the safe, guest recovery, preparing bank deposits, cleaning, managing emails, accepting/receiving shipments, product returns, paid ins/outs, cash refunds and voids, and key item walks.
  • Act as a liaison between store associates and store leadership to create a fun and collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain an awareness of loss prevention by supporting a culture of honesty and connecting the links between creating 'The Experience,' store associate engagement, and shrink.
  • Maintain food safety standards in compliance with company and state rules and regulations.
  • Drive efficiency to ensure guest flow is a top priority while delegating tasks needed to support the operation.
  • Train and develop the team on beverages and beverage standards to ensure consistency in beverage offerings.
