About The Position

The Foundry Work and Education Worker supports youth aged 12–24 in achieving their employment and education goals by providing individualized and group-based services. This role involves building positive, trusting relationships with youth, assisting them in identifying interests, skills, and goals, and supporting the development and implementation of individualized service plans. The worker will provide practical assistance with job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation, and skill-building, as well as facilitate group sessions and workshops to enhance employability and education readiness. Additionally, the role includes offering outreach, advocacy, and resource referrals to help youth access opportunities.

Requirements

  • Certificate in a related human/social services field
  • Experience supporting youth with employment, education, or training goals
  • Valid Drivers License

Responsibilities

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with youth, including those facing multiple barriers.
  • Assist youth in identifying interests, skills, and goals related to employment and education.
