Foundry Laborer
About The Position
REAL ALLOY is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production. Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, we have 16 plants strategically located across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. We convert aluminum scrap and by-products into reusable aluminum metal for a growing number of applications across various industries. Advanced technologies enable us to process a large variety of scrap and dross and reduce the amount of residual waste from aluminum manufacturing that would otherwise end up as landfill.
Requirements
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Accuracy in recording of weights
- Demonstrate safe work practices throughout the plant
- Ability to operate an industrial tow motor and forklift
Nice To Haves

- High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Banding ingot per customer specification
- Operating the ingot casting robot
- Driving a fork lift and transferring ingot to the banding pad
- Assist in maintaining furnace pump wells and bag house maintenance
- Employees wear protective equipment and work in an industrial manufacturing environment
