About The Position

A new veterinary hospital in Framingham, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced veterinarian to serve as a Founding Veterinarian and Lead Doctor. This is an opportunity to help build a practice from the ground up while having a meaningful role in its medical direction, team culture, and long-term growth. As the founding veterinarian, you will help establish the hospital’s standards of care, develop the medical team, and build strong relationships with the local community. The practice will focus on high-quality general medicine, surgery, and dentistry in a modern, client-focused environment.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
• Active veterinary license in good standing
• 4+ years of veterinary experience
• Strong background in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable mentoring and developing a veterinary team
• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in practice growth

Nice To Haves

• Previous leadership or management experience is a plus

• Establish the hospital’s medical culture and standards
• Recruit, mentor, and develop associate veterinarians and support staff
• Provide high-quality general medicine, surgery, and dentistry
