Founding Value Creation Lead

Attention•New York City, NY
•Onsite

About The Position

Attention's mission is to make every company reach its full revenue potential. We're looking for exceptional former consultants from McKinsey, BCG, or Bain to own value creation for some of our most important customers. As the team grows, you'll have the opportunity to build and potentially lead the Value Creation organization. As a Value Creation Lead, your job is simple: make our customers materially more successful, and prove it. You'll work directly with CROs, Sales & RevOps leaders, and other senior executives to understand how their revenue organizations operate, identify the highest-value problems AI can solve, and work with our product and engineering teams to turn those opportunities into reality. You'll also work directly with - and report to - Attention's founders and C-suite, with significant exposure to how we build the company, product, and customer strategy.

Requirements

  • Exceptional structured problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • The ability to go from an ambiguous business problem to a clear answer quickly.
  • Experience working with senior executives.
  • Strong commercial judgment and an instinct for what actually creates economic value.
  • The ability to influence people without relying on authority.
  • High ownership - you don't consider the job finished when the recommendation is delivered.
  • A builder mindset. If the tool you need doesn't exist, you're excited to figure out how to build it.
  • A desire to operate and own outcomes, not just advise.

Nice To Haves

  • Worked at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain

Responsibilities

  • Find the value. Get deeply inside the customer's business. Understand their economics, workflows, organization, and biggest constraints. Identify where Attention can create the most value.
  • Build the solution. Translate business problems into concrete AI solutions. Work directly with our product and engineering teams to deploy them.
  • Drive the change. Get executives, managers, and frontline teams aligned. Make sure what we build actually changes how the organization operates.
  • Measure the impact. Establish baselines, define success metrics, and quantify the value Attention creates. You should always be able to answer: What have we changed, and what is it worth?
  • Build the systems to measure it. Don't accept that the data or tooling you need doesn't exist. You'll build internal tools, dashboards, analyses, and systems that help us understand customer outcomes, measure ROI, and identify where we can create more value. Over time, you'll help turn this into a repeatable value-creation system across Attention's entire customer base.
  • Find the next opportunity. Once something works, figure out how to make it bigger. Expand successful workflows across teams, business units, and use cases.
  • Shape the product. The problems you discover in the field should influence what Attention builds. When you see the same opportunity repeatedly, help us turn it into product.
