Requirements

6+ years of experience building and shipping production software, preferably in startup or product-focused environments.
Strong experience building modern JavaScript and TypeScript applications across backend (Node.js) and frontend (React/Next.js).
Demonstrated ownership of products or major features from discovery through implementation, rather than only executing predefined requirements.
Experience evaluating technical approaches, researching vendors or technologies, making architectural decisions, and driving projects independently while balancing speed with long-term maintainability.
Hands-on experience building AI powered products, AI agents, automation, or LLM enabled workflows, or a demonstrated habit of actively using AI to prototype, build, and solve problems.
Strong product thinking with the ability to navigate ambiguity, ask the right questions, and understand customer problems before writing code.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, design, and operations.

Responsibilities

Own product initiatives from problem discovery through production delivery, taking responsibility for understanding the business problem before designing the technical solution.
Research, evaluate, prototype, and implement solutions independently, making thoughtful technical and product tradeoffs along the way.
Build AI native product experiences where LLMs, agents, and automation improve how users work and make decisions, and continuously look for ways AI can improve engineering workflows and internal operations.
Design and develop modern full stack applications using JavaScript and TypeScript across frontend and backend.
Rapidly prototype ideas, validate assumptions, and iterate based on user feedback and business outcomes.
Collaborate closely with product, operations, and design to simplify complex operational workflows into intuitive software experiences, mentoring engineers along the way through technical discussions and strong product ownership.
Own architectural decisions, engineering quality, and technical direction while balancing scalability, speed, and maintainability.
