About The Position

The Handsome Hour is a new dating podcast hosted by three successful tech founders, aiming to become the premier show on dating, mating, relationships, status, attraction, masculinity, and "the discourse." The podcast seeks to provide practical advice from individuals with real-world experience. This role also involves launching a podcast for Show My Score, featuring high school students who have achieved notable accomplishments but face challenges in the job market or university admissions. The company is looking for an entrepreneurial individual who understands the risks and potential rewards of a startup environment, rather than someone seeking a traditional career path.

Requirements

• Strong audio editing experience.
• Comfortable with video/social clips.
• Taste for internet-native media.
• High IQ, high agency, low need for supervision.
• Interested in dating, relationships, masculinity, social dynamics, or the broader mating market.
• Comfortable with risk.
• Able to move fast without being sloppy.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, treating the role as a founding position.
• Experience working with AI.
• Ability to ensure episodes drop on time and clips are consistently published.

Responsibilities

• Own the production machine for the podcast.
• Edit or manage the editing process.
• Improve audio quality.
• Ship clips to various platforms.
• Coordinate with guests.
• Manage podcast publishing.
• Run the website.
• Build repeatable workflows.
• Find and manage contractors as needed.
• Ensure the show improves weekly.
• Make decisions on spending for editors, designers, software, contractors, guests, tools, and experiments.
• Launch a podcast for Show My Score.
