About The Position
Virio is building the next-generation B2B GTM stack. Backed by investors and operators from LinkedIn, YouTube, HubSpot, Rippling, and Google, we help the fastest-growing B2B companies go to market through executive-led content that drives revenue. We are now looking for a Founding Marketer to own and scale all revenue-driving growth initiatives across marketing, demand generation, and go-to-market systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience running significant events, not just assisting.
- Strong interpersonal and logistical management skills.
- Sales acumen, including experience with sponsorships, partnerships, and securing executive participation.
- Ability to move quickly and take ownership of outcomes with minimal oversight.
- A genuine passion for event planning and execution.
- High agency and execution bias; takes action immediately without waiting for direction or perfect information.
- Revenue obsession; focused on pipeline quality, velocity, and downstream revenue impact.
- Comfort with ambiguity; energized by uncertainty and motivated by building from scratch.
- Direct, accountable communication; values clarity, speed, and full ownership.
- Low ego and relentless follow-through; takes complete responsibility and executes without excuses.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire events motion, from conception to post-event follow-up.
- Handle sponsorships from both perspectives: securing partners for our events and getting Virio into relevant industry events.
- Oversee all event logistics including vendors, venues, catering, AV, and swag.
- Build and maintain a community that extends beyond individual events, fostering ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate closely with sales and content teams to ensure events directly contribute to business objectives.
