About The Position

Valerie Health is seeking a Founding Marketer to be the first hire on their Marketing team. This role is crucial for accelerating Valerie's hypergrowth phase by driving lead generation and building a strong brand. The initial focus will be on owning the conference and events program end-to-end, including research, outreach, logistics, collateral, and on-the-ground presence. As the events program matures, the role will expand to encompass broader marketing functions, including building Go-To-Market systems and AI-powered automations. This position offers significant ownership and the opportunity to learn the breadth of marketing hands-on.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in a fast-paced B2B environment (Marketing, Sales, Operations, Chief of Staff, or generalist role at an early-stage company).
  • High interpersonal warmth and confidence; ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Exceptional organizational skills; ability to manage multiple workstreams across multiple events.
  • Strong written communication skills; ability to write clean, direct copy.
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI and technology; excitement about learning and discussing the platform.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% during peak event seasons.
  • Execution-oriented, resourceful, analytical, and motivated by building something.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end conference execution: coordinating with organizers, booking booths, shipping materials, handling registrations, and managing parallel workstreams.
  • Design and run pre-event outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and creative channels to book meetings and build awareness.
  • Represent Valerie on the floor at events, engaging directly with CEOs, practice administrators, and healthcare executives to qualify leads and advance deals.
  • Drive conference strategy by pulling attendee lists, assessing ICP presence, and making data-driven recommendations.
  • Take on increasing responsibility across lead generation channels such as webinars, advertising, LinkedIn campaigns, SEO/AEO, and email sequences.
  • Coordinate with external agencies on SEO/AEO and collateral production, ensuring quality and alignment with messaging.
  • Help build GTM systems, workflows, and AI-powered automations.
  • Develop deep product fluency to understand the AI platform, customer outcomes, and competitive positioning.
  • Contribute to messaging development and, over time, brand strategy.
