About The Position

Elevare is the clinical AI infrastructure for maternal health. We extend care before intake, between OB visits, and after discharge, from pre-conception through one year postpartum. Elevare was founded by a West Point systems engineer and former U.S. Army Black Hawk pilot who went on to Harvard Business School and led AI product at Amazon AGI. We are built on ACOG, AWHONN, and HEDIS protocol alignment and integrate with Epic and Cerner over FHIR. We are backed by experienced angels and operators across healthcare and venture. This is one of the strongest tailwinds in healthtech right now: a federal funding wave into rural maternal care, payers under pressure to fix preventable maternal cost, and AI finally capable of delivering personalized, multilingual, guideline-based care at scale. Gaps in maternal care drive more than $18B in preventable cost. We close them. We are looking for a Founding Head of Partnerships to build and own the function that makes Elevare the standard maternal care program for health plans and self-insured employers. You will work directly with our CEO, with a front-row seat to building a venture-scale company. You will own partnerships zero-to-one: the pipeline, the playbook, the deal structures, and eventually the team underneath you. You will turn first conversations into signed pilots, and pilots into commercial contracts. This is built for someone recently post-MBA who has either founded something or plans to within the next couple of years, and who wants to own a function before they do. If you want a structured BD seat at a mature company with a finished playbook, this is not it.

Requirements

  • Recently post-MBA or equivalent, with a founder's mindset. You have started something, or you intend to soon, and you want to run a function first
  • 4-7 years in enterprise GTM, partnerships, business development, or strategy, ideally touching healthcare, payers, employers, or benefits
  • Comfortable structuring deals with sophisticated buyers: benefits leaders, payer medical directors, and health system executives
  • Strong commercial instincts. You can build a pricing model, structure a pilot, and negotiate terms without hand-holding
  • You close. You move relationships from interest to signature and you do not need a finished playbook to get there
  • A credible communicator who can hold a clinical conversation and an economic one in the same meeting
  • Energized by ground-floor building and comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and building the process while running it

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, payer, or employer-benefits experience is a strong plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the partnership pipeline across self-insured employers, health plans, and health systems, from first conversation to signed agreement
  • Turn pilots into commercial contracts, structuring scope, pricing, success metrics, and value-based terms with benefits teams, procurement, and clinical leadership
  • Own executive relationships across Chief Health Officers, benefits leaders, and payer medical directors, and make Elevare the easy yes
  • Position Elevare as the orchestration layer that activates a buyer's existing investments, not another point vendor in a crowded stack
  • Build the partnerships function from scratch: process, materials, CRM hygiene, and the first hires under you
  • Partner with clinical and product so that what we sell is what we can deliver, with clinical integration scoped up front, never improvised
  • Represent Elevare in design partnerships, accelerators, and across the maternal benefits ecosystem
  • Feed market signal back into product priorities and GTM strategy

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: Depending on experience
  • Equity: Meaningful founding-team equity
  • Health benefits: Full medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Incredible learning working directly with the founder and founding team
  • A mission-driven team building something that matters
