Founding Frontend/UX Engineer

About The Position

Solstice is building the industry’s leading AI platform to help life sciences teams generate compliant marketing content. We’re looking for a Front-end/UX engineer to join our founding team and help architect and deliver the end-to-end user experience for our customers. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of design and engineering, has a deep appreciation for product polish, and wants to shape how the next generation of AI-first tools serve biopharma teams. Beyond development, you will be collaborating closely with co-founders Yiwen and Aris on all facets of the startup as we grow Solstice in the coming years.

Requirements

Relevant experience building systems & deploying enterprise-grade products
Ability to make decisions and drive results on your own.
Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern frontend tooling.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
Superb communication and collaboration skills.
Willingness to provide as well as accept criticism.
Unreal work ethic.

Responsibilities

Designing and building beautiful, performant, and responsive UIs using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
Creating real-time, interactive product experiences that integrate AI insights, user annotations, and collaborative workflows.
Working closely with backend and AI engineers to ensure seamless data flow and frontend/backend integration.
Design, ship, and own production-level software from start to finish.
