Founding Frontend Engineer

Shade.incNew York City, NY
Hybrid

About The Position

Shade is scaling rapidly, having built out the combined tech of Frame.io and LucidLink, integrated with proprietary AI search and labeling. We serve as critical infrastructure for post-production houses, creative agencies, sports teams, and internal media teams at large companies, with customers including Salesforce, Snowflake, A24, and the Boston Celtics. We are experiencing significant growth, ingesting 50TB of data daily and growing 200% QoQ with 120% NRR. We recently closed a $14M Series A funding round. Our philosophy centers on the interface being the product, as customers use Shade extensively. We recognize the need for seamless integration between storage layers and other tools, and are addressing the limitations of traditional version control for creatives by building a UI that mirrors Git concepts for media teams. Data transfer is another key area we are solving, making it reliable and easy to move high volumes of data.
